Screamin Knuck

This bike was a concept bike to recreate knucklehead nostalgia in a 200 tire powerhouse chassis. Starting with a set of new Ultima "Fatso" cases, which are big bore evo style motor cases that are decked for Twin Cam cylinders and heads. The cases use evo style crank with 1/4" longer pinion shaft to accomodate extra room for larger cylinders of the twin Cam and lifters moved outward on the cases. So lifter blocks and crank assemblies for Big Bore are needed. Well I had a spare set of remanufactured Indian PowerPlus 100 flywheel assembly from Black Hawk Motor works in Palm Bay Florida. I previously used 2 sets in other builds that required changing the 1/4" longer pinion shaft to a stock one. They worked great on the Screamin Indian Big Red and also on the Old School Evo Chopper. Besides the pinion change, they required a little relief done on the inside of the cases for clearence. Quality wheels and rods by Jims Machining that have been remanufactured on new tooling by Black Hawk Motor works down in Florida, Indian PowerPlus motor specialists.
Anyway the wheel assembly went right into the "Fatso" cases, didnt even need any relief. 10/1 3 7/8" KB pistons with a Black Widow 644 lift Cam and S&S oil pump and 50a 3 phase charging for the lower end. The big bore TC cylinders were matched to a set of 2007 ACH Screamin Eagle 110 heads, which required some machine work on the pushrod covers and gasket seats to be repositioned for the difference in pushrod angle from Evo to TC. With some additional headwork and the large SC valves I added roller rocker arms and the "Knucklehead" rocker covers by Xzotic, now Vulcan industries. With big bore cylinders and 4 1/4 stroke and with S&S Single fire ignition with S&S igition/cam cover. Also used S&S easy adjust pushrods with billet covers, billet lifter blocks and an S&S "G" carb with black Thunderjet, making it a 101 cu Knuck motor.
I started with an Ultima 200 tire softail frame and a DNA stock length Springer. Added an Ultima 6 speed overdrive transmission and 2" Ultima Old School chrome Belt Drive. Fabbed and polished brackets and modified dual HD 4 piston calipers front brakes aqnd fabbed & polished HD 4 piston brake Calipers for rear. Built, fabbed and installed dual clutch actuation (hand or foot) and hand shift mechanism. Numerous modifications made in house, including adapting early style "Diamond" style primary cover for the Beltdrive and for late model catseye dash, late tombstone tailight and 96/up Softail wire harness modified Lots more not mentioned but the result was pretty spectacular..
